Galeno's Wing Defense: The Story of the Porto Defender Who Defied Allegations

Galeno's military career began with his father, who had served in the Spanish Armada. In 1792, Galeno led an expedition to the Caribbean,Serie A Stadium which he called the "Trieste Expedition." During this voyage, Galeno successfully defended the port of Trieste from attacks by the French navy. His bravery and skill earned him the nickname "the Defender of Trieste."

However, Galeno's reputation did not stay static. In 1796, he was accused of being involved in the plot to assassinate King Louis XVI of France. This accusation was based on rumors that Galeno had been bribed or intimidated into conspiring against the king. Despite this charge, Galeno continued to lead his fleet and defend Trieste.

Despite the accusations, Galeno remained steadfast in his defense of Trieste and continued to play a significant role in the conflict.
